Stallholders are required to do the following:

All exhibitors must be set up by the advertised start time. Access arrangements will be as advised on your event joining instructions sent to you at least one week before the event. We allow one vehicle per stall at the agreed meeting point for stallholders.

Your stall must be set up sensibly and within the markings set out on the floor. You must comply with our stewards’ requests to move any boxes or items for safety reasons. If we consider them to be exceeding your stall area or a safety hazard, they must be moved or you will be asked to leave.

Stallholders should check that their set up is erected correctly and safely.

In the village hall stallholders must not attach anything to walls or ceilings.

Rubbish must be removed by you and taken away with you. You should specify if you require electricity for equipment when booking or if you have any particular requirements. We will do our best to accommodate these but that may not always be possible.

Once you have applied for a stall, you cannot make changes to the products or services you will have at the market. If you need to make changes then you must make a new application.

Bookings

All booking fees must be paid to secure your stall.

Payment will be accepted by bank transfer. You must email [email protected] proof of payment when it has been made.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations will be accepted up to two calendar months before the date of the market and will see the stall fee refunded to you.

Any cancellations after 5pm on 5th October 2024 will not receive a refund.

Cancellations must be confirmed by email to [email protected].

If you are not going to attend a booking that you have made you must let us know as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in not being allowed a stall at future markets. Furthermore, cancelling a booking without a reason acceptable to the Christmas Committee within four weeks of the market may also mean you might not be allowed a stall at future markets.

Once you have notified us of a cancellation in writing we will confirm the cancellation back to you in writing.

Limit of liability

Our organisers will do everything in our power to ensure that you have a successful stall but cannot be held responsible for damage or theft of your stock, interruption of power or services, failure of press advertisements to appear, inclement weather, astrological incompatibility or anything else beyond our control.

Each stallholder has to have their own public liability insurance and we recommend that you adequately insure yourself against all risks.

It is a condition of booking that you understand and accept that you cannot hold our organisers responsible for any losses you sustain.

If in the reasonable opinion of our organisers it is necessary to cancel an event because of prevailing weather conditions or any other reason no refund of booking fee or any other payment will be forthcoming.
