Being completely independent from local authority funding or control and managed and operated entirely by volunteers to published timetables, the Coggeshall Community Bus is a unique local facility.

The Bus went into operation on 1st February 1982 meaning that we are in our 38th year of continuous service to the community. During this period, the Bus has become a lifeline to our residents and synonymous with the unique Coggeshall way of life.

The Bus is operated through a not-for-profit company – Coggeshall Community Bus Limited. All operating costs and capital expenditure are met from the (very reasonable) fares paid by our passengers.
