Ranfield’s Brasserie is a 2AA rosette restaurant and is located on Stoneham Street. In 2018, it was awarded the title of ‘Best Restaurant in Essex’ at the British Restaurant Awards – very deservedly given the incredible standard of food that you will always be served. The interiors are sophisticated snug and the artwork on the walls provides a talking point, with so much to look at!

The restaurant has a number of different menus, including light lunch bites, Sunday lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and menu du jour.

Many people will remember when Ranfield’s was known as Baumann’s, owned by Mark Baumann until 2015. And there will also be those who can even recall the previous owner – Peter Langan. He co-owned Langan’s with Michael Caine in Mayfair and brought the restaurant out to Coggeshall in 1986.
