The Owen Martin Nature Reserve is named after a much-loved member of Coggeshall’s community who sadly passed away a few years ago. It can be accessed off Dampier Road or Tilkey Road (view the map in the gallery to see how to get there) and was previously quite neglected but it has had a huge amount of work put into it to clear some space, plant fruit trees and create a new path to walk around.

There are more plans to include picnic benches, bird nesting boxes, more trees and potentially even a boardwalk around the pond.

It is open to everyone to access and is a lovely secluded spot!
