Description

Every Thursday morning (from around 8am to 12noon) on Stoneham Street there is a market with a number of different stalls including fruit and veg, fish, cheese, baked items and freshly made Indian delicacies. This offers delicious food from local sources and you can easily do your weekly shop from the whole market.

This is a historic market and has been traced back to 1256 when Henry III granted Coggeshall a Market Charter. There was a period when it ceased, but it was fortunately resurrected in the 1970s.
