Description

Following closely on from their 10th Anniversary Concert, Magnificat Bach/Vivaldi to a fantastic audience of nearly 400, Colchester Chamber Choir will be performing a programme of inspirational a cappella choral music from the 16th to 20th centuries from both the sacred and secular classical traditions – some much-loved and well‑known, some less so.

The programme will include English works by Tudor composers, Purcell, Sterndale-Bennett, Elgar, Stanford and bridge, as well as works by Alfvén, Peterson-Berger, Bruckner, Rheinberger, Kodaly and Rachmaninoff.

Some of the choir’s favourite pieces drawn together into a programme that will inspire and transform.

Tickets (£12.50), which include complimentary refreshments, are available at www.colchesterchamberchoir.org. You can also email the choir at [email protected] for more information.

Seating is unallocated so we advise early arrival.
