This is a two hour WordPress workshop to go through the basics of using a WordPress website and it will also provide tips on how you can improve your site. It is for people with an existing WordPress website and will cover the following:

– Adding or amending pages – creating new pages on your site such as a blog, or services page or adding new content to existing pages

– Understanding plugins and how to install them – looking at when plugins are appropriate, what ones you might want to use and how to install them

– How to do basic SEO – using Yoast, we will go through the essentials that you should be doing to ensure to support your SEO

– Technical support – send in three key questions or issues you are having and there will be a specific slot to help you out with these. It won’t necessarily fix them as it depends on what your problem is, but will help to provide you with a way forward

This isn’t a workshop for developers, but for someone with either a basic or intermediate understanding of WordPress.

There will only be four spaces at the workshop to allow us to spend enough time going through all of your questions and to ensure we cover any other topics you might want to raise.
