A true family business
Here at Peter Watts Wines, we have been importing fine small producer’s wines from all over the globe since way back in 1979. We are a true family business, Peter and his wife Lyn, Tom and Jack Watts are all involved. We are not a large company but because of this what we offer is a personal down-to-earth service.
Perhaps you are looking for a few nice bottles to match with something you are cooking, or maybe you want to send some wine to a loved one the other end of the country? We can even organise your own personal wine tasting in your home (post-covid of course). We do all of the above and more, just take a look at our wine list for some ideas.
How we select
We have always had a very stringent selection process and out of the hundreds of wines we taste, only a select few are included in our exclusive range. This is so that we are sure what is in that bottle is the very best money can buy. We don’t take shortcuts and buy mass-produced wines, but prefer to support smaller family concerns like ourselves who bottle their wine at source.
Christmas gift ideas
Much like our selection process for our wines, with our Christmas gift list, we have chosen some beautiful food products. Wilkins preserves of Tiptree, Lambton and Jackson smoked salmon from Maldon and Chapel Chocolates all make an appearance. These are all local companies doing superb produce. A special offer will be running for just 4 hours on Saturday 28th November from 9-1pm – buy any case of wine. 12 bottles mixed any way you like, and receive a free bottle of Whispering Angel Provence rosé as well as your usual 10% discount! Offer is valid on collections only from our shop on Friday 27th November (10am to 5pm) and Saturday 28th November (9am to 1pm) and excludes bin ends and already discounted wines.
