Coggeshall has a reputation for being haunted – with a large number of medieval buildings and a rich history, this is no surprise. Add to this the supposed crossing of ley lines where Coggeshall is located and you have either have a lot of strong imaginations or there is something going on…
In past years there have been popular ghost tours, led by local experts and historians, going around Coggeshall sharing some of the incredible sightings and stories. These are making a comeback this year (possibly with social distancing) and more details will be announced soon.
Funds raised from the tours will go towards the Big Park Project. For more information on this, head over to the website for the fundraising group behind the project.
While the individuals behind the tours are getting on with the organisation, you can get in touch if you have a story to tell you would like to be added to the tour. Or you can get in touch if you want to be part of them! Email [email protected].
